About Us

Dave Smith is the owner and senior training specialist at Cobot Safety.

He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and has participated in the development of CSA Machinery, Robot and Lockout safety standards for over 20 years. Dave is a long standing Technical Expert on the Canadian Mirror Committee to ISO/TC299 for Robotics and Robotics Devices and a Certified TUV Functional Safety Technician.
